Harvard-UTEC Partnership

The DRCLAS Regional Office facilitated the enactment of a historic agreement between John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) at Harvard University and Peru’s Universidad Tecnológica (UTEC) in 2014, to establish collaborations in research, innovations in engineering education, and faculty-led student programs in Peru and at Harvard.

Harvard-UTEC Faculty Grants
In 2015, SEAS, DRCLAS and UTEC launched the Harvard-UTEC Faculty Grants Program, which aims to develop lines of collaborative research between the two institutions. The aim of the program is to develop lines of collaborative research with UTEC, a new technological University that was founded two years ago by Eduardo Hochschild, a leading Peruvian industrialist.
